The Temptations are generation-spanning motown heroes who have been hailed the “#1 R&B/Hip Hop Artists of All Time,” as well as being called the “125 Greatest of All Time Artists” by Billboard magazine. Rolling Stone Magazine also dubbed the band one of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time” by Rolling Stone Magazine. And, they’re showing no signs of slowing down with the announcement of this anniversary tour. The band are a national treasure who are constantly winning over the hearts of the masses. Hailed the “#1 R&B/Hip Hop Artists of All Time,” The Temptations have also been lovingly called the “125 Greatest of All Time Artists” by Billboard magazine, as well as one of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time” by the esteemed Rolling Stone Magazine. While The Temptations has constantly evolved over the years, Otis Williams has continued to helm the group and carry the torch forward for the fresh generation of loyal fans. Otis Williams is joined by Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Tony Grant, and Jawan M. Jackson.
Joining The Temptations for this anniversary concert is none other than The Four Tops. The four piece rose up the ranks at the height of the sixties groove, and haven’t stopped since! The band is made up of Ronnie McNeir (second tenor vocals), Lawrence Payton Jr. (bass, baritone vocals), Alexander Morris (lead vocals), as well as Michael Brock (first tenor vocals). You probably already know the lyrics to all their songs, but if not - here’s some favorites. 1965’s “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” was a number 1 R&B and Pop smash hit, and one of Motown’s longest-running chart toppers. Other top hits include “It’s The Same Old Song,” “Reach Out I’ll Be There,” “Standing In The Shadows Of Love,” “Bernadette,” “Ask The Lonely,” “Shake Me, Wake Me (When It’s Over),” “Something About You,” “You Keep Running Away,” and “7-Rooms Of Gloom.”
