Sarah Silverman is a hilarious entertainer who wears the hat of stand-up comedian, actress, and writer. She shot onto the scene as a writer and cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live during its 19th season between 1993 and 1994. She then starred center stage as an actress and producer in The Sarah Silverman Program. This smash hit show showcased between 2007 and 2010 on Comedy Central, and it was hilarious! For her incredible work on the program, Sarah Silverman was unsurprisingly nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. But that’s not all… this comedy superstar has also acted in television shows, including Mr. Show and V.I.P., as well as starred in huge blockbuster movies, like 1997’s Who's the Caboose?, 2003’s School of Rock (2003), 2011’s Take This Waltz, 2014’s A Million Ways to Die in the West, and 2017’s Battle of the Sexes. What’s more, this entertainment powerhouse even voiced Vanellope von Schweetz in 2012’s Wreck-It Ralph, and 2018’s Ralph Breaks the Internet. For her lead role in 2015’s I Smile Back, Sarah Silverman was nominated for a well-deserved Screen Actors Guild Award. With an epic career like that, it’s no surprise audiences wanted to hear more. Her autobiography The Bedwetter, which was released in 2010, was later adapted into an off-Broadway musical in 2022, and it was amazing!
