This year, the American alternative rock band is marking a special tour, hosting two nights of non-stop fun in every city. Diehard fans are in for a rockin' treat 'cause it can't get any better than this.
With fourteen cities on the list, they've got a lot of back-to-back nights to rock off the charts. Moreover, Kurt Vile + The Violators will be providing support throughout the tour.
Night 2 at the Paramount Theatre Seattle will see them conquering the stage with their greatest hits. So, ya'll better sing, cheer, and get up on your feet as every single melody strikes your soul. Ready yourselves for an intimate yet energy-rockin' night that'll blow your mind away. If you've got friends who stan these legendary rockers, make sure to bring them along 'cause it's bound to get wild.
These two albums rocked the world in the early '90s, selling over 300k+ copies in the US. These classic albums are believed to be essential records that places Pixies on the map, becoming influential records to future alt-rockers. Bossanova shared back-to-back hit singles "Dig for Fire" and "Velouria", while Trompe le Monde served "Planet of Sound", "Alec Eiffel", "Letter to Memphis", and "Head On".
Fans have claimed that these albums are staple classics that they'll always come back to. To this date, they continue to attract millions of streams from longtime fans and old souls who find their rockin' gems in a sea of American rockers.
"Our audience just seems to get bigger all the time," frontman Black Francis told BBC. With a new album just released, they're still on their A-game. Francis shares that while fans long for the same naive energy they had in their heyday, it's pretty unreasonable to expect the exact same anger of youth they had back then. "It gets harder to do those kind of things, because when you're young, there's so much naïvete driving the bus... But what happens is you get better at playing guitar, better at composing, and that naïve energy is gone. It's very hard to tap into it. It's much easier to tap into the I-know-what-the-hell-I'm-doing energy," he said.
Now, they're rockin it out in their own way. With decades of stories, growth, and experiences up their sleeve, Pixies is truly a legendary force in the game today. So, don't miss out on their special 2025 North American tour by booking your tickets now!
