She is Patti Smith, and she is slated to hit the road with a fall tour, performing her iconic album, ‘Horses, in its entirety for the first time in two decades - and Seattle, she is headed your way! It’s the 50th anniversary of ‘Horses’, the 1975 debut album that catapulted Patti Smith right to the top of the punk movement, and what better way to celebrate than with a tour that will see her perform the album in its entirety alongside her band? Let’s be frank: there can be no better news for any punk, hardcore fan, music lover, newbies, curious ones, and those looking for an exceptional evening filled with the power of music!
Apart from cementing herself as force in the New York-based punk rock movement, ‘Horses’, boasting bangers such as ‘Redondo Beach’ and ‘Free Money’, is rated as a seminal album in punk and even later rock genres, appears on numerous lists as one of the greatest albums of all time, and was also selected by the Library of Congress to be included in the National Recording Registry as a “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant work”. It’s a unique combination of urgent and vivid poetry with the spikey, minimal, three-chord structures and sounds of punk rock, an amalgamation of the pounding rhythms and the text that became the root of punk rock - the music that laid the cornerstones of the punk rock movement.

The ‘Horses’ tour is slated to criss-cross through Europe and North America, kicking off in Dublin, Ireland, early October 2025, visiting all the major venues, before wrapping up at the end of November 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Patti Smith will be performing alongside her longtime sidekicks - drummer Jay Lee Daugherty, guitarist Lenny Kaye, keyboardist and bassist Tony Shanahan, and her guitarist-son, Jackson Smith.
