The book tour will see Melinda take stages and give talks in New York City, Nashville, D.C., Chicago, Austin, and of course - right here in the heart of tech, Seattle!
Melinda French Gates is hard to miss, unless you’ve been living exclusively under a no-tech rock for the past three or four decades. The Duke Business school graduate is known for not only her contributions to companies like Microsoft and The Gates Foundation, but also starting her own company Pivotal Ventures, which is dedicated to being a catalyst for social change and organizations on the brink of national and global adoption. She has been ranked as one of the most powerful women in the world by Forbes, has received an award from the French Legion of Honour, and has a Presidential Medal of Freedom from her work around America. She was born in Dallas Texas to a family of six, and was introduced to Apple and computer science at the age of fourteen. She is synonymous with women in STEM and business, and she’s set to tell it all in her upcoming book launch at the Paramount.
Her new book, The Next Day, is all about personal growth and transformation through tumultuous times.
