La Maldita Vecindad y los Hijos del Quinto Patio or better known Maldita Vecindad or La Maldita for short, is one of Mexico’s most prominent rock bands. The critically-acclaimed outfit from Mexico City dominated the charts during the late ‘80s and ‘90s with iconic albums, such as their self-titled debut effort, El Circo, Baile De Mascaras, Mostros, and Circo Colectivo. Maldita Vecindad is regarded as the pioneer of Mexican rock music and has been credited for paving the way for the next generation of Latin rock musicians. The band has been cited by many Spanish artists for being a major influence on their music.

Meanwhile, the band brings in approximately 2.5 million listeners per month on Spotify. On Youtube, Maldita Vecindad has collected over 185 million views.
