New England hip hop star Joyner Lucas is the one to watch live. Often praised for his technical ability, the rapper delivers dense, reflective rhymes and hard-hitting production. Since bursting from the central Massachusetts underground scene in the mid 2010s, Joyner Lucas has cooked up a sound that is inspired by predecessors Jay Z, eminem, and 2Pac. Featuring uncompromising socio-political worldviews, his music disrupted the industry, and "I'm Not Racist" scored Joyner Lucas his first Grammy nomination.
