On November 22nd, the genius and unapologetic standup comedian Iliza Shlesigner is taking the spotlight at the Paramount Theatre.
The American comedian is back on the road with her brand new tour with 20 shows across the nation. Iliza Shlesinger’s work is known to be highly relatable and dabs into topics such as satirical politics, womanhood, feminism, and every day struggles of simply being an adult human.
Iliza Shlesinger is an award winning American comedian, actor, writer, producer and author. Her shows have continuously been sold out across the States and globally. Her comedic talent was visible from the early days of her journey and resulted in winning Myspace’s 2007 So You Think You're Funny contest, and known to be the only female and the youngest comic to win NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2008. Throughout the years, Iliza Shlesinger continued to take part as a fellow comic and host on various online and televised shows. One of her major breakthroughs came in 2013 with her Netflix special “War Paint,” which grew her fan base to become a devoted audience which wears wigs to look like Iliza Shlesinger at her events. Since then, she has released numerous Netflix specials with the notable “Elder Millennial” published in 2018. She is known to have coined the term ‘Elder Millenial’ and has become a major figure in covering topics and the struggles that her generation face.
