The amazing Idina Menzel made her debut on the stages of Broadway in 1996 in Jonathan Larson’s era-defying rock musical “Rent” as Maureen Johnson, for which she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. The character’s ideas and philosophies made such an impression on Idina Menzel that she decided to name the upcoming tour after one of Maureen’s stage numbers as a reflection of where and who she is at this point in her life.

She then transitioned to television and film, taking on parts in the film “Enchanted” as well as the television series “Glee”. Idina Menzel is also the iconic voice behind the “Frozen” character, Elsa. The song “Let It Go” peaked on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first Tony Award-winning actress to earn a top-10 position on the charts. During her smashing career, Idina Menzel has also landed multiple other awards, including an Obie Award, three Broadway.com Audience Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award, a World Music Award, as well as an honorary award from the Drama League.
