The former First Lady and U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has penned a new memoir and will be coming to the Paramount Theatre Seattle on 20 October 2024, to speak about “Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty” in person!
Publishers Simon & Schuster are set to release “Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty” on 17 September 2024, in the lead-up to November’s elections. Hillary Clinton herself will be hitting the road on a five-city tour through Washington, D.C., Boston, San Francisco, and Chicago before concluding in Seattle to personally promote the memoir.
Audiences can look forward to wide-ranging conversations about the ‘behind the scenes’ and never-before-told stories and anecdotes, as well as exchanges about politics, democracy, the threats faced, friendships, aging, and marriage.

The best-selling author, Hillary Clinton, was the first woman to win a presidential nomination by a major United States political party and the first woman to win the popular vote for United States President. Since leaving the White House, led by her husband, President Bill Clinton, and losing her own presidential bid to Donald Trump in 2016, Hillary Clinton has remained heavily involved in politics. She has since published several books, such as “What Happened," “It Takes a Village," “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience," and the fiction book “State of Terror."
Hillary Clinton has also embarked on various media ventures. She collaborated with director Nanette Burstein on the documentary "Hillary," released on Hulu in 2020, and hosted a podcast in collaboration with iHeartRadio, “You and Me Both." She also produced television series such as “Gutsy” and the upcoming adaptation of “The Woman’s Hour."
Hillary Clinton has had various incredible achievements during her career and is the recipient of multiple accolades. She was appointed as the Honorary Founding Chair of the Institute for Women, Peace, and Security at Georgetown University, with awards bearing her name. She was appointed as the first female chancellor of Queen’s University, Belfast in 2020, and in 2023, she joined Columbia University as a Professor of Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs.
