Back to the Future: The Musical has been adapted from the 1985 cult classic and fan favorite movie which was directed by Robert Zemeckis. The tale follows Marty McFly who is an everyday mid-eighties high school student, plucking his guitar, crushing on his girlfriend, marveling at what’s up with his quirky family, and hanging out with his eccentric pal, the scientist Emmett “Doc” Brown.

Set in both the 50s and 80s, Marty McFly accidentally gets taken back in time when Doc transforms a DeLorean into a time machine. When he gets transported back to 1955, he unwittingly changes the course of history by changing the way that his parents meet at a high school dance. To keep the future – and humanity – intact, Marty McFly is in a race against time to repair the present, escape the past, and transport himself… Back to the Future.
