Mandy Patinkin made his theatre debut in 1975 opposite Meryl Streep in “Trelawny of the 'Wells'”, originated the role of Che in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Evita” in 1979, earning him a Tony Award, as well as the roles of Georges Seurat and George in Stephen Sondheim’s “Sunday in the Park With George”, earning another Tony Award nomination. To date, he has released no less than 13 albums and featured in 37 films, 29 television programs, and 31 theatrical productions. His accolade shelf carries the weight of a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, an Outer Circle Critics Special Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, among others.
