Riverdance 30: The New Generation at Paramount Theatre Seattle

When the fusion of Irish and international dance and music hit the stage for the first time during the interval of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, featuring legendary dancers Jean Butler, Michael Flatley, and the vocal ensemble Anúna, it was clear that something truly special was brewing. Over 3 million viewers worldwide witnessed the new phenomenon, and following the enthusiasm and rave reviews of audiences everywhere, production team John McColgan and Moya Doherty expanded the seven-minute act into a full-blown theatrical production. Tickets for the very first five-week run at the Point Theatre in Dublin sold out within three days, and from there, Riverdance became larger than life.

Now, 30 years later, a new generation of performers, all of whom were not born when the show took the stage for the very first time, have been welcomed to the troupe and are slated to bring their extraordinary production to the world. Riverdance 30: The New Generation is set to kick off the North American leg of their global tour at the end of January 2025 in St. Petersburg, Florida, visiting 35 major venues before wrapping up in Portland, Oregon, in early June 2025.
