Making its first appearance in in 2015 and running for almost a decade, Hamilton took Broadway by storm bringing a innovative approach. Written by American composer and writer Lin-Manuel Miranda who is also known for his numerous accomplishments in both Broadway and film. He went on to compose the score and lyrics for his former Broadway play In the Heights, another Tony award-winning spectacle. Miranda is also the creator of music and lyrics in popular musical films such as Moana. This hit musical, featuring a diverse cast, has showtunes in a style that combines new genres like hip-hop, jazz, R&B, which has made Hamilton all the more revolutionary and exciting by showcasing these music genres to Broadway. Lin-Manuel Miranda has attributed his music inspiration for Hamilton to become top rap and hip hop artists of USA, finding a way to unite the two different genres together, something that was unheard of! Hamilton is now available this winter in Paramount Theatre, the premier theater for the arts in Seattle, where previous musicals have been received incredibly well. Tickets for the Thursday 13th February 2025 show are limited as Hamilton will only be running for a limited time in Paramount Theatre during February.
